Speaking of cold...

Everyone else has been posting about the ridiculously cold weather, so I thought I would throw in my 2 cents. I am so grateful for a house with a working furnace! Im sure I wont be as grateful when the bill comes, but at the moment it is a life saver...literally! They cancelled school today because the temp was dropping to a "dangerously" low
-35 degrees. Of course that is with the wind chill, so thats not too bad right? Ryan was out shoveling for only about 5-10 minutes last night, and came in completely frozen! He was complaining how sore his hands were and I was afraid he got frost bite, (yes, he was wearing gloves) so I banned him from going back out to finish. The wind just blows the snow back onto the driveway anyway! So can someone tell me why this freakish weather decides to visit right after we move here? Last year was supposed to be the record in snowfall, and now we are breaking coldness records, on top of even more snow! What did we do to deserve this!? And might I mention, Im sorry to everyone else for apparently bringing this on. Okay, Im not complaining. I love having the kids home where I can listen to them argue all day, and make a mess. No really, I do. I havent left the house, besides church, since Brylee was born. Its just too dang cold! Okay, plus Im a little freaked out about lugging three kids around again. Lets just go back to saying...Im grateful for the warm house...and Ill be grateful for spring. Do not visit Wisconsin in the winter!

No kidding. I wanted to get out of the house today with Abi after preschool but decided not to because of the cold.
A minute ago I stood by the front window debating whether I was going to go check the mail. I didn't.
I don't mind being cold, but I don't like being THIS cold.

Hallie cant WAIT to lose a tooth either. Its so hard explaining to her when it happens because she thinks hers should fall out since everyone elses are. Cute pillow and I agree with Cheryl... what are the chances the BOTH have lost teeth at the same time. Brylee is a cutie and getting BIG! I love the polka dot whatever she is on and her outfit... very cute stuff on a very cute baby! Sorry about the cold, I'm glad we got out of it when we did!

I love that all of us are crying about the cold in the blogging world today. I guess we have no choice because it is way too cold to venture out into the real world.

We got our WE energies bill... Lets just say it was VERY high. We've never had one this high before. $526.00 Brian has been on the phone trying to figure out what happened. We were even gone two of those weeks. Yeah that hurt us a little... Just a little!!!!

Yes!I mentioned I'd be taken that advise. Friend I have has been stuck at the Ohare airport 2x in a January bitter in years past. She said you'd think she'd learn the first time and she did it again a second where she was literally camped out at Ohare for 2 weeks until the frost would calm down. Even to go outdoor of terminal to catch cab could cause a frost bite. Not to mention throwing the hot chocolate in the cold air and watch it crystallize before it hit the ground. That is what I call extreme weather warning. I'm thankful for your heater tooo!!! ha...
