Lets just keep this short and sweet. You know the drill.
First things first...decorating Easter Eggs.
This one may require a bit of explanation.
Alissa is our ultra emotional child. I dont want to call her a pessimest, but well...
Anyway, she gets very hard on herself if something doesnt turn out exactly as planned.
Enter the easter eggs, the need to draw the perfect easter bunny on one, and the failure to draw the perfect Easter bunny on one and you get...
This devastation continued for almost the entire duration of egg paining.
Lets move on to more happy to please children, shall we?
This picture cracked me up. Is that not the cutest fake smile ever!?
Thats a little better.
Ryan trying to cheer up Ms. Emotion. Love the cross eyes.
Easter Morning
I neglected to take a picture of the baskets before the kids ripped into them, so try to use your imagination.
All the kids got beach towels because Madi informed me that up until this point we were apparently so uncool because we used bath towels when we went swimming. Who knew a beach towel could make you so cool?
There were some bubbles for the 3 younger, kites for Zack and Alissa and of course candy for all.
And Brylee got a book, and this shirt, because I bought it with the beach towels and forgot it was in the bag.
That was it, well except for the 6 Flags season passes, but they werent really very excited about those so whatever.
They decided to try out their new towels during the Easter Story. And Jovi decided to lick Alissas face right as I took the picture.
Then it was time to clean up. We attempted pictures outside, but for some unknown reason, the kids kept squinting. So we moved the photo shoot inside. Ive included the best of both worlds for your viewing pleasure.
Yeah, the group shots never turn out so well. We tried.
Happy Easter!
